Korean Skincare routine || Updated 2019 Korean products

One of my New Year’s resolutions for 2019 is to make sure I give too much attention to my skin care. 2 more years and bye-bye 20’s and hello 30’s. I have to slow down or at least prevent the sign of aging. I don’t have enough knowledge for make-ups but I’m certainly obsessing of any information regarding skin care. That’s why for 2019 I need to invest more and update my skin care routine, so here are my 2019 updated skin care routine.

2017 I’ve been a huge fan of any organic products and then around 2018 I’m starting to fall in love with Korean products, when it comes to perfect skin I adore Koreans a lot, like how they made it possible. Those smooth, fair and glass skin, I want it so badly. That’s why I decided to completely use all skin care products that are made from Korea and see what will happen to my face. I’ve done my research on what products to buy, I’m currently loving the blog of www.theklog.co. It’s a blog talking about skin care and Korean products, what I love about this blog is that it’s so on-point and they give too much information, which I really adore.

After cleansing my face, I started my skin care routine with a Toner. A lot of people had been asking me, what is the use of Toner, in my own understanding Toner helps to remove excess dirt in our face that cleansing cannot remove alone, it also balance the Ph level in our skin. So, for Toner I used the Cosrx Galactomyces Alcohol Free Toner.

Theklog. co -----“Cosrx Galactomyces Alcohol Free Toner. While the the product name might say it all, it goes without saying that this toner is meant to hydrate and nourish without stripping the skin like traditional Western toners can. This particular one has 10% galactomyces ferment filtrate, which helps to even out your skin and refine texture while hyaluronic acid provides intense moisture.”

In my own review:
The Cosrx Galactomyces Alcohol Free Toner is certainly worth to buy, I bought it in Lazada TH, and the name of the shop is Becosthailand for 550 THB. First impression with the packaging is so crazy, the bottle is big and enough for me to say that it will last 1 month and a half for me. However, I just don’t like that it’s a spray bottle, I’m not use to a Toner that I have to spray to the cotton pads, I’m used to dropping all products to the cotton pads directly and apply it to my skin. Anyways, it’s lightweight, no fragrance, easy to absorb and for 4 days now, I can see that my face is starting to brighten.

After Toner, I followed my Essence. Essence helps to prepare our skin for our moisturizer, eye cream, serum and etc. to absorb into our skin easily and efficiently. I used the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence.

Theklog. co -----“ COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. This essence is packed with 96% snail secretion filtrate. Snail mucin is a great acne-fighting ingredient because it’s antimicrobial and has naturally occurring glycolic acid. It also boosts collagen production and replenishes moisture in the skin, helping to heal acne scars and prevent excess oil production. This essence is also fragrance-free and has a pH of 6.5.”

In my own review:
I bought the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence in a Korean store in Terminal 21 Pattaya, I’m not sure the name of the store because it’s written in Korean, and I bought it for 690 THB. The bottle is the same with the Cosrx Galactomyces Alcohol Free Toner, however, it is smaller than the Toner and it’s a pumping bottle. Since it’s a Snail Mucin expect of a very sticky texture, even though it’s very sticky, it’s still light weight in the face. They said that it easily absorbs, but for me it doesn’t, it takes a while to fully absorb into my skin. The effect is okay, it’s been 4 days now and I still haven’t seen any major effect, however it nourishes my skin and hydrated.

Next, is Moisturizer, I had been having a difficult time lately because I’ve tried so many Moisturizer but nothing works as I want them to work. But when I read all about Banila Co Dear Hydration Boosting Cream, claiming a glass skin effect. Without any brainstorming and hesitation, I decided to buy it.

Theklog.co -----“ Banila Co Dear Hydration Boosting Cream is rich in antioxidants and act as a moisturizing agents, helping to heal dry and flaky skin. As hydrating as this product sounds, it does also contain healing ingredient such as neem, moringa seed oil, and mint. Neem helps with your acne, while the moringa seed oil, mint, and scotch pine, help soothe various skin irritations. You also have brightening agents, such as niacinamide, and holy basil to help with evening out your skin tone and any redness. Overall, these ingredients allow for a well-balanced product to effectively hydrate skin, without clogging pores and potentially causing any breakouts.”

In my own review:
The Banila Co Dear Hydration Boosting Cream is the most expensive product that I bought in my entire life, LOL! But it’s definitely worth the money. I bought it again in Lazada, the name of the shop is SoKorea for 854 THB. I’m so surprised when the package arrived, because the seller is so thoughtful enough to give me a sample of the Banila Co White Wedding Sleeping Essence, which is amazing, but I will not include that in my review here of course, comment down below if you want me to do my Night time skin care routine. Back to Banila Co Dear Hydration Boosting Cream, the packaging is so cute and perfect maybe because it’s pink? LOL! It has a silicon spatula to help get the products. The texture is creamy and pink as well, but when you applied it its white. The moisturizer is lightweight, not easy to absorb, and no fragrance at all. For 4 days now of using the moisturizer I can see the improvement of my skin, it became brighter, softer and dewy to give me that glass skin effect.

My last skin care routine is Sunscreen, sunscreen is very important loves whether you are outdoor or indoor, even the weather is gloomy or rainy always use a sunscreen to protect your skin. I’ve spent a lot of money for skin care, I don’t want it to be wasted just because of UV rays. I used the Nivea sun Protect & White SPF 50+ and PA+++. To know more about Sunscreen click here.

Theklog.co -----“ We often get asked whether or not you really need to wear SPF when it’s not hot and sunny outside, and the truth is that while UV rays may not be as strong when it’s cold or cloudy, any exposure (that even includes through windows) can cause skin damage. When in doubt, it’s always better to just wear the sunscreen.”

And that was my updated skin care routine and products for 2019 loves, if you are on a budget but want to buy skin care products, Theklog.co also wrote some articles for budget friendly Korean products which really helps for every skin type.
