The season is changing in most of Asia, usually, there are only Summer and Rainy day season. I've been living in the Philippines and Thailand and there are only two seasons, however, there is a cold season in Thailand when it's December and January. Right now, we've been experiencing unpredictable rainy days, that's why I would like to share with you loves my top three rainy day outfits that surely will inspire you.
Things you must-have for the rainy day season to make life easier.
- Nylon jackets: Nylon is a heavy-duty synthetic fabric that is used for industrial and outdoor such bags, apparel and many more. There are a lot of kinds of Nylon but Ripstop nylon is commonly used for apparel because it is a woven fabric, lightweight and durable textile. Nylon jacket is highly recommended to have at least one in our wardrobe because it is not easily penetrated by water. For me, it is very helpful to have a nylon jacket, especially during this unpredicted rain.
- Leather jackets: If you are not a fan of nylon jackets, you can try leather jackets. According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leather) "Leather is a durable and flexible material created by tanning animal rawhide and skins. The most common raw material is cattle hide. It can be produced at manufacturing scales ranging from artisan to modern industrial scale. Leather making has been practiced for more than 7,000 years;[1] the earliest record of leather artifacts dates back to 2200 BCE." However, if you are not into animal skin there is a material intended to substitute for leather and that is synthetic leather they are also known as "leatherette", "imitation leather", "faux leather", "vegan leather", "PU leather" and "pleather". Leather is water-resistant is can either absorb water, resist water or completely waterproof it depends on the manufacturer how many degrees of water-resistant they produce for their leather.
- Waterproof boots or shoes.
- Foldable umbrella. There are many types of umbrella in the market from Artistic Umbrellas; Automatic Umbrellas; Bubble Umbrellas and many more. But I highly suggest owning a Classic Umbrellas in foldable. The reason is that it is more convenient to bring anywhere and anytime without a hassle. You can just simply place it in your bag and when it rains you can get it out from your bag.
