This is me in my usual boring lines, justifying how I've been so MIA on my own website. The excuse would be the usual phrases, "I've been busy and haven't had time to update," but the truth is I just don't have the time, and I'm swamped with work, being a mom, wife, and life.
Well, here we go. This blog post deserves to be shared because I really did make an effort to curate, plan, buy, and shoot my outfits on our last trip to Hua Hin.
I will also be writing another travel itinerary blog post about our recent trip to Hua Hin, and hopefully I will be able to publish it within this month and not next year, LOL!
The Outfits
Just a note that 90% of my outfits are from thrift stores.
I stumbled upon this Pink Linen Tie Front Top, which has drawstring closures at the front of the silhouette, in a 75 THB thrift store, and without a doubt, I immediately secured it in my basket.
It is indeed very pretty and in good condition; the fabric is really soft, and the color is perfect for spring.
And I paired it with my linen beige pants, a perfect combo for a casual but put-together look.
On our second day in Hua Hin, our itinerary was lounging on the beach and cafe hopping, so I decided to have a sexy dress.
I found this soft pink chic linen halter dress with a low back and front slit in a thrift store —the perfect summer outfit. The dress was flowy and lightweight, perfect for the warm weather.
However, it is a little bigger in the bust area, so I need to DIY sew the bust area to make it fit better.
I really love the fit. The photo that my husband took of me, I look like Marilyn Monroe. Just my own opinion, LOL!
This white halter neck pleated crop top with ruffle front and backless was in my Shein and Shoppee carts for a long time. And this was a trend at the end of last year or early 2025, and I've been meaning to get one of these, but I couldn't find a place or event that I would wear it to.
Until finally we had a short vacation, I finally checked it out from my cart. and purchased it just in time for our trip.
I love the fit; it gives me the curve, and I was amazed that it hid my mommy belly pouch.
I also bought this baggy jeans from Shopee, which I am so obsessed with. Since I bought this I've been wearing it like almost everyday. The fit, the height is perfect and they are so comfortable.
I am confident that this was a perfect outfit of the day.
This is the day that we celebrate my son's 3rd birthday. The itinerary was to eat breakfast at this brunch cafe and head to the beach again.
It was scorching hot. It drained my energy, so I decided to wear a green striped blouse with sleeves. The fabric is lightweight cotton, so it's very comfortable. I paired it with a pleated short skirt.
And that was my best outfit in Hua Hin. I have 3 outfits that I did not share here because I didn't get the chance to take a photo.
